How bad is it?
There are 3 kinds of people in the world. Those who can do math and those who can't. :?

i don,t think they are selling deer meat, people are thinking they are because of their ad on tv with several burgers and a deer head comming up behind them. the ad looks like if you don,t get a deer you can still get your meat their stores. mr myopic.

Arby's takes a stab at venison sandwiches in select locations

USA Today Network Mary Bowerman , USA TODAY Network 9:32 a.m. EDT October 26, 2016

Fast-food chain Arby's will begin testing venison sandwiches in select markets by the end of the month, the company announced Tuesday.

Arby's venison sandwich features a thick-cut venison steak and crispy onions with a berry sauce on a toasted roll, according to the company.

The venison sandwich is "100% deer meat," with premium cut top and bottom round steaks from the hind quarter of the deer, according to Rob Lynch, Arby's Brand President & Chief Marketing Officer.

Lynch said the company released the sandwich as part of "It's Meats Season" campaign, which celebrates the start of hunting season.

"Bringing venison to our menu also allows us to continue to set ourselves apart from the competition when it comes to proteins," he said. "You simply can't find this at other restaurant chains."

The new sandwich will be offered for a limited time at 17 Arby's restaurants across the country. According to the company, the locations were chosen in heavy deer hunting areas in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Georgia.

Lynch said the company sources free-range farmed deer that feed on fresh grass, and he is confident that " deer hunters are going to love this sandwich."

I'm sure that people in northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan know what venison sandwiches taste like. They probably have the fixins for them at home. I dont know why they dont offer it where there are more people that [?]might want to try it for the first time.

I saw this on our 10:00 PM local news. I'm assuming that it would be sold here locally in Milwaukee. I wouldn't think they'd bother to report it if the closets Arby's selling it is 250 miles away.

I've got one 3 blocks away I'll have to stop in and see if their gonna be selling it there.

Is it processed like the rest of their meats?
Venison = healthy but not if it's processed with fat and a boat load of sodium added.

There's a location in Atlanta that's about 40 miles from me. It would be faster to drive the 275 miles to Nashville. I'd rather take a beating as to drive through Atlanta and that's just what you may get if you stop at a gas station to fill up. [B)]

The one here is down in Buckhead not too far from the new office. I may have to give it a try....
