What is a S&W 686 4" .357 worth?

I have a friend looking to sell a S&W 686 4" model .357 Magnum. Stainless with the lock. I would buy it from him if I hadn't just acquired one in a trade. What is a reasonable cash value? It is in good shape with the box and a couple of speed loaders. I may just buy them from him though. Thanks in advance.
