planes over the midwest

Anyone have a clue about the multiple flight path over north MO? Since early this morning on about 15-20 minute intervals similar size, shape, color 4 engine jet appears to be approx size of 747. Flight path guesstimate 280-290 degrees WNW to 110-120 degrees ESE and reverse. First passes appeared to be below commercial flight elevation and faster speed but the last one(about 5 minutes ago) appeared to 50-60% of that elevation and reduced speed. Definitely not B-52 or military transport profile.
Could be Air Guard practice but certainly a new flight path.

Their spraying.
Art Bell was right.......
They continued until around 11AM and I haven't seen one since. No sustained contrails or exhaust visible most of the trips-just a little directly behind the plane. Definitely not B-52 or heavy lift cargo. More like a refueler profile. We see those fairly often-sometimes with little birds on the teat. Big rumble when the B-52's are hooked up to the nozzle.
They have or did have a refueling wing in Kansas City.[;)]

Yup .......... saw near the same thing about a week ago in the sky here....but there were more hash contrails.

If the wind at elevation is blowing from the left to the right at 30 knots and 6 planes travel in the exact same path 20 minutes apart what do you think the contrails will look like?
(They are called fly over states.... in general the air traffic follows the same route)
