South Atlanta area outdoor shooting ranges?

What outdoor shooting ranges do you guys like that live around Atlanta?

I'd like to find one on the South side of Atlanta down toward Griffin or even down to Macon rather than trying to drive to North Atlanta. It takes what seems like for ever to drive to the North side of Atlanta from my house in Hampton. Actually it takes a long time to drive any where near Atlanta whether it's on the East, West or North side.

Normally I shoot my rifles out in the boonies when I'm back home in Tennessee but since I don't get back home as often as I used to I'd like to find a place here to shoot outdoors also.

Smitty, I go to Tenn. and Georgia a lot. I would really like to meet you and maybe go shooting or out for coffee. Let me know. I will advise you when I am heading there. Coffee is on me. I am actually a shy guy in person and don't talk a lot, so you will have the floor.[:D] Oakie

Thanks for the offer. Let me know the next time you're down this way. I know you might find it hard to believe but I've never had a problem taking the floor. [;)]

I used to go to "South River" outdoor range between Conyers & Covington. Looks as if it's still there... http://www.southrivergunclub.com/

Cherokee Rose is a great place for clays, we do a charity shoot there every year in the spring.
