Her first demand derails any chance of her testifying. She is demanding Judge Kavanaugh answer any new charges without knowing what the charges are and denying him an opportunity to amend his remarks if there are new charges he failed to answer.

It would be outrageous if they even considered that demand. Kavanaugh himself would be a moron for agreeing to such a demand. It is simply un-American to put Kavanaugh, who is highly regarded, and innocent of these allegations until proven otherwise to defend himself against second hand allegations when the accuser is available to provide those allegations, in detail, and under oath.
It is unprecedented and should shock the consciences of every America, including all that Democrat lawmakers that are pushing for this arrangement.

The goal is not to stop the Kavanaugh confirmation. The goal is to lay the groundwork for an assertion of SCOTUS illegitimacy. The Democratic Party will then recommend a "fix" in the realm of FDR's "court packing" or a 6 - 3 standard to sustain a court decision. Absent that party approved change the Democratic Party will, at a deliberately chosen moment, justify ignoring the court's writ. Something they have plenty of practice in, harkening back to civil rights.
