MLK's dream of being judged by the content of your character may never happen. It certainly won't happen as long as there are race baiters out there making everything about race.
Look at the most recent episode where the black women called 911 about being attacked because they where black. Total fabrication on their part, but the race baiters will still refer to that, saying whitey is just covering up for other whiteys....even when there is video evidence supporting the opposite story.
If I don't like a black guy, it is not because he's black.....I just don't like him. Can't that be a valid reason?

There is no doubt there is racism in the United States and just about every other country in the world, but I didn't see any racism in the video. One gentleman even gave a legitimate answer when asked why he wouldn't loan his phone; "I know him, I don't know you".
If I'm sitting at a picnic table in a public park and somebody comes up and asks to use my phone he or she will be refused. If they want to argue about it one of us is likely to get hurt. Not racism, simple battery.

The level of racism has increased substantially since the current POTUS was inaugurated as he has worked hard to divide the people of this country and it is one of the few accomplishments he can take pride in
I don't think it is racism as much as it is racial conflict...and yes, it can be laid sqarely at the feet of CJ.
There are those who dislike black people because they are black. Far more simply see the endless and growing violence, anti-social behaviors, entitlement attitude, crime, etc. coming from so much of the black community...and refuse to ignore it, excuse it, or back away from confronting it.
I was raised in the DC area in an environment where color was never an issue.
As a child my best friends were often black.
We had sleep overs, played ball, and interacted without regard to race.
I think children are for the most part often color blind.
I moved to Spotsylvania VA and learned about racism from other whites.
For no other reason then their color some people hated blacks or at least considered them less of a person.
When I was in the Navy Racism really wasn't tolerated, however while I had several good buddies who were black, blacks tended to eat and socialize with other blacks.
As I grew older I have to admit that I have been exposed to enough bad behavior and poorly raised and mannered black folks that Racism has effected my thoughts. I don't like any color person who displays poor social skills but I expect it more now from Blacks.
I still try and judge based on a person's interactions with me and their behavior in general but admit that I am no longer youthfully color blind.
48% of voters who did not vote for Obama have been called racist.
65-70% of the people who want Obamacare repealed have been deemed racist.
IMHO the term racist has been so watered down by main stream DEMOCRAT media being called a racist is now meaningless.
The term racist is now nothing more than a political wedge.
Many who have been branded racist simply because they oppose Obama and the DEMOCRATs socialist policies consider the term a badge of honor.
Probably not much different from our Indian Reservations..
FWIW why is a black population that makes up probably 1% of Hollywood surprised when on a given year they have no nominees? It's called the law of averages...............

Racism has changed a lot since I participated in society if not loaning your phone to a stranger qualifies as racism. If that is the standard I must qualify for a pointy hat and sheet.
