My question is what kind of military action ? Bunker busters, Moab's, small nukes or should we pull out of Iraq and shroom both countries. I know I Know we can't do that. Well anyway maybe the U.N. can come up with some harsh resolutions to put them in their place like the did with Saddam.[xx(]

1. NewsMax Poll: Strong U.S. Support for Bombing Iran

An Internet poll sponsored by NewsMax.com reveals that Americans are overwhelmingly in favor of the United States undertaking military action to stop Iran's nuclear weapons program.

Nearly 60,000 people have taken part in the poll so far, and more than nine out of 10 say U.S. efforts to contain Iran's weapons program are not working.

A large majority of respondents also believe that Iran poses a greater threat than Saddam Hussein did before the Iraq War.

NewsMax will provide the results of this poll to major media and share them with radio talk-show hosts across the country.

Here are the poll questions and results:

1) Do you believe U.S. efforts to contain Iran's nuclear weapons program are working?
Working: 7 percent
Not Working: 93 percent

2) Should the United States rely solely on the U.N. to stop Iran's nuclear weapons program?
Yes: 11 percent
No: 89 percent

3) Do you believe Iran poses a greater threat than Saddam Hussein did before the Iraq War?
Yes: 88 percent
No: 12 percent

4) Should the U.S. undertake military action against Iran to stop their program?
Yes: 77 percent
No: 23 percent

5) Who should undertake military action against Iran first?
U.S.: 45 percent
Israel: 35 percent
Neither: 20 percent

That poll is probably as scientific as one conducted by the World Workers Party that finds we should abandon Capitalism.

I saw this poll about a week ago. When I read this question, I chuckled beacuse it is missleading.

    U.S.: 45 percent
    Israel: 35 percent
    Neither: 20 percent

It's not a question of "Who should" it is "Who will". If you ask me, it's not going to be the USA that takes the first shot.[;)]

If I recall, Isreal did the same with Saddams nuke program. One or two well placed missels and it was all over.

Bush has done such a good job in Iraq, I see no reason for him not to begin another war in Iran.
As a matter of fact, Syria is out of line, let's bomb them.
And that crazy guy in Korea is proven to have nukes, let's take them out, too.

The simpleton Bush has never seen a problem that a war won't cure.

The American people have been ready to bomb Iran for 25 years, I'm surprised it's taken us this long. Those bazturds have been messing with us since 1979 and we havent hardly come close to getting even yet. More than any other country in the Mid East, Iran has it coming.

I'm surprised Israel hasn't already, cause of the threats from Iran. i think they will undergo this one first and we will do logistics for them. I hope they wipe them off the map FOR GOOD!!!!!

Iran's nuclear program is well dispersed around the country. I believe they have around a dozen separate locations. Iraq had all of their program based on a single breeder reactor. It would take an invasion, not just a few air strikes, to stop Iran's program.

In any event, it is not Syria or Iran or Iraq that is the problem (or are the problems).

    The problem is Islam.

Islam does not condone violence; it does not encourage violence. It demands violence. The religion is homicidal, no, genicidal; the "believers" simply go along with what it teaches.

There is no practical difference between Islam and NSDAP.

The same solution for Naziism is suitable for Islam.

Not towing the company line Allen? Shame on you! These numbers must be from polling members of online forums because I have yet to stumble across anyone who is talking about Iran. The $3.50 per gallon cost of gasoline around here and the illegal alien issue occuppies most folks thoughts.

Well since the last time the US actually showed we have a pair and nuked some one was 61 years ago. We might need to have a refresher course for the world.

Nuke them all, take the gas. Stop the freedom BS and just doiminate the world for once.
