After telling me for 25 years that she doesn't particularly like my music and that I was on my own for guitars, my wife stuns me with this sweetheart yesterday

    Believe it or not, she was completely stoked about the Fitbit, pressure cooker and laundry rack I got her. Or she's an Academy-Award-Worthy actress.

    Hard to beat the tone of a solid Lester style body. [:)]

    Heavy, you need a good wide strap, but the tone and sustain are worth it![:)]

    I love the Gretsch chambered solid-body sound. And those Filtertrons growl nicely when you stand on 'em. I was surprised how light the thing felt, compared to my Strat and Gibson LP's I've played.

    I was also really surprised how much louder and brighter this is than my Gretsch 5420T Hollow Body. Same Filtertron pups, but they're just a little nastier.
