I posted the pictures she sent to me. I'm not sure if that's factory engraving but it's very nice and high quality. I think it would definitely be worth getting a factory letter to find out for sure. The grips were added by her grandfather in 1970. I'll defer to your opinion.
It has features of a Storekeeper's model but also those of a flattop target model. Please take a look.
