Best friends Mother in law passed today

Got a phone call at 5:30 this morning, from my best friend Paul. His mother in law passed and his wife wanted to ask me to be a poll bearer, and give a speech at her funeral. It is actually a reading from the bible and something she has prepared. Her mom was a very fun person and always had a smile on her face and a coor's light in her hand[:D] One of the actors from the movie, viva Las Vegas, an Elvis impersonator, is going to sing at her funeral. She was good friends with him and she loved Elvis. She is being buried in a Hawaiian dress, with a Blue orchid lea, from Hawaii. Paul had the flowers shipped today. Her name was Eva. As she lay dying in hospice care, Eva had not spoken in a long time. She had dementia. Her daughter was crying in a chair at the end of her bed. Eva came to and said to her daughter, please stop crying, I am going to a better place to be with your father. Now smile for me, so I can see that beautiful face. Kathy smiled and her mother passed 10 minutes later. Monday is going to be a sad day, but I think a lot of us will be okay, since we all have great memories of her and she always made us all laugh and smile. Her daughter is taking it great and will be fine. Oakie

I believe the Lord gives some extra strength right before they leave this world to let loved ones left here know that it is gonna be OK and I thank him for this
prayers for you all
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
