Good news for me

Just returned from the surgery clinic after having a colonscopy and an endescope both at the same time. Follow up on the cancer I had 4 years ago, Every thing is CLEAN, one minute poplop near the resection which the Dr, removed, Still a bit woozy from the anethesia..Whoooopie..[:D]

Went in to the cardiologist in Dec after having a few bouts over a couple of years with mild chest pain (not crushing...more like someone running a hot 16d nail through my chest wall).

Did a Nuc Stress test...failed it. Doc says he saw an area on the lower part that was not oxygenating well or at all. Off to the Cath Lab for me.

Did the Cath Lab yesterday. Doc saw no blockage anywhere. Says the heart is strong. So that much is good news.

Now I see him in a month and we look for other reasons why that area is not oxygenating well and what the source of pain is.

Oh yeah...and the leg is sore as schnit where they did the cath. Now I have to sit here for another day so I dont dislodge the plug they placed. You guys and gals are my entertainment. [:D]

Glad to hear you are doing well. A friend of mine went into the doctor last week with a pain in his side. They found a tumor on his colon and removed about a foot of it over the weekend.

Took the day off so I could be with him and enjoy the wonderful news too...

If only more would have the procedure done, more lives would be saved...

Glad to hear yours was OK. That reminds me I'm overdue for mine. The colonoscopy ain't so bad, it's the day before the colonoscopy I could do without.

I had my first procedure done last year. The best drug I ever had, WOW! One min I was going under, the next I was awake. Didn't feel a thing and felt like I was walking on air while walking out the door.

At my age they want to do it again in three years!

Good news. I'm a 10 year survivor who would have been on the wrong side of the grass nine years ago were it not for colonoscopy.
There were no symptoms.
