    my family has friends there, one family has a daighter about my age, so we know from them that EVERYONE gets drafted there.
    Not a bad deal at all, you're in country defending your people, not stationed in Europe or Asia or some other useless outpost.

    I've also seen a TV special about the Gaza settlements. Basically every adult has an M-16 (government issue) and every man is a member of a sort of militia. Not a bad place to live despite the sand and sheethead attacks [;)]

    They should issue "Assault" rifles to Americans living in counties bordering Mexico and provide the proper training and organization.
