Temperature here are soaring this week and she has to go back to work (guidance counselor) in 2 weeks. She is happy as a clam. [^]

i would have told her to go jump in the pond[;)][;)]
she wont do it. She has seen a snake, a turtle and a big grass carp. She fears there may be great whites in there.
That looks like a good deal for $48.
....and it comes with a pump and filter.
Nice railing, fish and copper post tops,,,,,,,,[:D][:o)]
The two eyed trout are holding up very well with all of the colors intact and the poly keeping off the rust.

Did you put up this sign?
No, your mother put it up for me.
Beautiful view!!
Where did the Carp come from?
Nice size for the two of you. With the help of a bowl of beans and a glass of milk you could turn it into a jaCuzzi for her![:D]
Glass of milk is all I need to make it happen[:0]
Are you gonna' blow a hole in the side of that one too???
[:D]
[:D]...You remembered. It was with an axe.
Looks refreshing!

Where did the Carp come from?
The single grass carp came from the fish farm that stocked it.
Planning on keeping or killing the Carp ?
Grass Carp are sterile. They cannot mate.Eventually, it will just die of old age. Friend has 3 in his pond. When it rains a lot they come up and graze on the lawn grass..

I assume they put the carp in there for a reason, I don't think I should kill it yet. He said it would eventually get fat and lazy at which point he could be killed and replaced.

..We had a 16' x 32' pool that just outlived itself. I cut it up for scrap with an air chisel. Then, the wife put up one of those like Guv-Cheese's, but it was 15' across. That one took a few 12 ga. slugs. VERY satisfying! It emptied real quick, then I slit the bottom to drain the rest.

I thought that's what you used, but I couldn't remember for sure. I know another guy who did one with a drill.
Wallie has a post claiming he knows of a bullet to shoot a plastic bag of water without losing a drop of water. Sounds like you have a new backstop!
