I love it when a little digging teaches me something new.

Like Perry Shooter said....this is a special Flaig's shotgun.

This shotgun was made by Franz Sodia...the model name is "Forever Yours" ...which is on the barrel. They were imported by Flaig's store.

I cannot find out much about Franz Sodia???? I have found several examples of his (their) work....and WOW...this is just as nice as I expected.

It would be nice to know a little history about the manufacturer.

    I love the details on this one. The way the wood meets the metal shows this was hand fitted. I haven't been able to find much about this model, but I wonder how many they produced. Maybe if I get some spare time I will do some more digging on it to see what I can find out.

    That is a beautiful piece of wood and metal

    Although, those Southern region Germans AKA Austrians do not like to be referred to as "Germans"

    To show his respect and superior knowledge Barack Obama even stated they spoke "Austrian" in Austria
