Plumbing tools? Wrench? Or??

The first pic.
It's "almost" a pipe wrench.
It is a RIDGID, besides that, all it says on it is "Super siX"
What the heck is this thing used for, how?
What is it called, besides a wrench?
How much would it cost?

The second pic.
Does it cut pipe, or thread pipe?
Or what?
Value?

I've got one too, but I cannot access it or MC. I got an email about it, but I'm having no luck getting in there to check my PM's...[B)]

On the top is a pipe wrench with an articulated handle for working in tight spaces. Then you have some pipe threading tools for external and internal threads. All pasic plumbers/pipe-fitters.

    hughbetcha,
Thanks, thought they were some kind of plumbing tools.
I have tried to use that pipe wrench in every way that I could think of. Couldn't get it to actually DO anything. I thought if I cut the handle and welded it straight to the head, it might be worth something. LOL
As is, it flops around too much for me to use.

    juju,
I can't get into MC either.
No reason email from here shouldn't work.
Are we going to go through that....AGAIN??? [:0]
I don't have anyone banned from my e-mail address.

That articulated pipe wrench can be a life saver if you are down in a tight crawl space, especailly if your dad was a plumber and you were the one who always got sent down there [V].

You need to put a lever bar in the pivot hole, then pulling up on the end of the handle causes the jaws to bite. (Block up the ends of the lever bar to stabilize it).

Also, you can position the hole in the handle under the straps and put a bar through it to use it like a regular pipe wrench.

JuJu: MC was crashed and from what I understand, they are still working to get the system up; try using the GB mail system.

Have a great weekend, buddy. Sorry I missed you but my health was off. Will try again later in July if possible.

That pipe wrench looks really interesting. Where did you find it?
