CCI Stinger boxes

I wish I could find a washtub full of those boxes with the sliding lid. The bulk ammo thing really annoys me. I guess these are the little things that us old guys think about.

I never throw those CCI boxes out. I have a few that are 15-20 yrs old probably. Always get PO'd when I break one.

I think I had seen a bunch of those is the gun room when I was cleaning, I might have pitched them or threw them in a box to be pitched. If i still have them; do you want them? Not all stinger but plastic ones(rem, cci etc.)

I always check the garbage cans at the gun club .
We have people throw those boxes away all the time .
Last week I found 2 boxes of once fired Win. 38's that had been put in the boxes and thrown away .
I am turning into a dumpster diver ![;)][;)]

Those boxes are great. I remember playing with some in my sandbox more than 25 years ago. Dad used to give them to me and my brother to play with when we were little.

...Agreed, Allen. We old guys do think about these things. That's why I'm a packrat. Those boxes are great for loading a bunch of 10/22 mags, or others for that matter. You always know how many are in that handful.

I would take them, give you something for them, pay shipping, send a box for you to put them in. Whatever will get them to me.

I've emptied and refilled mine many times over. Don't have many left these days.

+1. I even keep the cardboard boxes with the plastic holders in them. Makes it all that much easier to reload your gun.

Laugh if you want, but this was very handy when I took my concealed carry course. I didn't want to be fumbling 6 cartridges out of a small box, so I used this "old man's speed loader."[:D]

I keep one or two near my 22. They are great for the glove box, and that way I always have a nice little ammo pack ready. Its easy to organize the ammo that way. i keep a row of cbs, a row of solid 40grains, a row of hollowpoint 36grains, and a row of stingers, it keeps a nice little versatile package thats travel size for my convinence.[8D][:D]

Dumpster diving was a topic about 2 weeks ago.
I have found so much valuable stuff - I cant belive what people just throw away.
Two of my best finds include a Nikon SLR and .25ACP Beretta Jetfire. [:D][^]

Have a bunch of them. They come in handy when I buy a 2100 round dry box of Federal .22 ammo. Use them for everything from fishing tackle, holding drill bits to screws and ammo.

Found 5 laying on a bench the last time we went to the shooting range.

I have two one hundred round Remington 22lr plastic slide top boxes that are about 45 years old that I still use to carry rounds in the console of my truck. They still work great.
