Not sure if anyone is following it this year, but appears to be pretty exciting! Robby Gordon was giving them a whale of a run before he had major mechanical issues in stage 11. He fell from 2nd overall(cars) to 6th and was over an hour behind. He then followed that up with a dominating stage 12 beating everybody by 15 MINUTES! That is pretty dang good. [:)] I think he is back up to 4th now.
He is also appealing a decision that his tire monitoring system is not approved. Could be the case, but is identical to the one he has ran the past few years, was approved before the event began, and it seems to me that the French are feeling the heat of an American finally showing a strong had in the most grueling race in the world.

What a bunch of FROGGS!!!
The judges said his tire inflation/deflation system could somehow "FEED HIS ENGINE"?
What a bunch of FROGGS!!!
Thats what they are saying!?!? What a joke!!!
I like his quote following the last stage: "We schooled these boys. I'm pissed. I'm pissed at Stephane and I'm pissed at Nani for challenging my character about being a cheater and today I kicked their *. I'm going to prove something every day for the rest of the rally. We're going to win every special from here home."

I don't remember, they run the dirt bikes at the same time?
Yep, dirtbikes, quads, cars, & small semi's.
