Hunting was a success

No, I didn't get a wall hanger. I'll have the freezer filled tomorrow, though. Have a spike and two does hanging up outside.

Downgraded from a 4 point to the spike. Saw the 4 point on opening morning and didn't shoot. I had spotted both a six and seven point the Sunday before. The six point had an absolutely beautiful rack. I had hopes of getting him. Needless to say, I never saw either of them again, and on the last morning of the trip I shot the spike.

i blew the chest out of a button buck this year but i didnt have a camera, but now i have a freezer full of steak grade meat no matter what part it came from[:)]
