Advanced Child Abuse Investigation. Serious stuff. Lots of sickos in the world, folks. Maybe not "lots," but certainly enough to cause the rest of us to be cautious.

    Jury I was on not too long ago was a child molestation case. It was a very difficult case to listen to, especially the little girl that was the victim. The most contentious debate in the jury room was whether we should vote now or have lunch first. The bailiff said the Judge and the attorneys had already left the courthouse for lunch so that was decided. I was not in the mood to eat after 4 days of that testimony however.... grrr

    I couldn't do it. I just couldn't see the pictures, listen to the stories. I think I would be affected too much and I don't know what it might do??? I could spend more time in bed....I may start hatching a horrid plan to deal with things....we just don't know???

    On the local news tonight
    the gals lawyer was telling the news she was a good and caring mother .
    "Really sure does not sound like it to me "
    she was pimping out her eleven year old daughter to the dealer for more drugs , not sure how they got caught but now the good mother and the dealer have 25 charges against them each .

    I just about threw-up reading a local news story the other day. A young mom broke 3 ribs on her infant by"accidentally" squeezing her too hard. The x-rays also found 3 old broken ribs on the other side. [V]
