    I'm thankful for the pop up turkey thermometer. We had stock in the company that invented it. My house and land are paid for.

    I have no Idea why it seems to be life or death for someone to prove the story is true.
    If it is true then tell it and get on with life.
    Why would anyone care if people on the internet believed it or not?
    I really have a hard time understanding what the importance to get everyone to believe a story is.
    Too much drama.

    I am told the company originally was called Research Industries and later became Baxter. The pop up turkey thermometer was the first big thing. Baxter makes medical equipment . My wife inherited the stock..quote:Originally posted by reloader44mag
