I figured i'd ask you all if you know or can recommend a good hunting preserve/ranch /guide service for a whitetail deer hunt for a father/son hunting trip....He lives in one state i live another. I am tired of non-respectful hunters in my area, and he is too. Would like to find a nice place for 3-5 days at a reasonable price. We are not looking for trophys'. Just some time hunting together and have a opportunity to take home a nice buck and doe...Any help would be nice...

Sorry I can't help, but you might want to mention what part of the country you live in, or which state(s) you would be interested in hunting. There might be someone on board who could help, if they had an idea.

I live in Indiana my dad Tennessee... We Would like to hunt, Arkansas,Kansas, Illinois or maybe Michigan. Somewhere that can be drove to over night and hunt a few days 3-4. Looking for referrals to a good scout/ranch, etc... whatever ya might call them... The places ive checked online are way too expensive... Looking for the best bang for the buck.....Like i said we are not after trophies, just time out away from people and have a chance at a respectful wall hanger for each of us...

If no one steps ups to suggest a guide in one of the states you designated, get on your google and do some surfing. Search strings like "Michigan deer hunts" or "Iowa hunting guides" should net you a number of possibilities. A few folks here have posted about guided hunts, but most seem to be Easterners hunting in the West rather than closer to home as you want to do.

Fleabay sells guided hunts. You could look at Feedback and determine how satisfied someone was.

You might also want to take a trip to your local sporting goods store that isn't too PC enough to offer quality hunting departments (Gander, Sportsman's Warehouse, Bass Pro, etc.) and ask them for recommendations.

I think Cabellas does something of that sort also
