Leaving for Florida soon to escape the coming snow and I like to hit the gun shows and was wondering what the M1 carbines generally sell for? Say a Winchester in good condition probably not all Win parts? I'll be in the panhandle area.thanks

I'm sure that you are aware that they can't legally sell a gun to a nonresident under federal law. At least, you won't get arrested, the "unlicensed dealer" will.

Florida is one the few states where there are local gun shows with lots of tables of "unlicensed dealers". No tax, no paperwork, just cash & a brown bag. Most won't even care if you are not a FL resident.

All the "private" sellers that I have encountered at the shows in Central Florida, have ALWAYS asked for a valid Florida I.D. In fact, asking for proper I.D. is required. A non-resident CANNOT LEGALLY purchase a firearm w/o going through an FFL.
