Our oldest living son and his children can stay in their home! Our son is a single parent of two. He works two jobs. His second job is in real estate which has been terrible. He expected to be evicted Jan 5.
His lender just contacted him and offered a 5-year, interest only loan at 5%. This puts the payments down to what he can afford. After 5 yrs, the loan goes back to whatever the current interest rate is. His missed payments, penalties and fees are added to the principle. My wife and I couldn't imagine a better Christmas.
