My only issue would be bullet damage after it fell from the top rack, I can live with a broken potato chip, but I will not stand for a dinged up SWC.

Used to have beer vending machines on military bases. Not sure if they still do, but always thought that was a good idea.

In the 1950's, there was an "amusement parlor" near my home. It had a bunch of pinball machines, & a few special amusements that included a "shooting gallery in a barrel". The shooting gallery was about 6' long & tilted downward; inside was a chained .22 bolt action single shot rifle, with a lighted target at the bottom. You put a quarter in the vending slot, pushed it in, & out dropped two .22 shorts, which you were supposed to use to shoot at the target.

There was an attendant there on occasion, often not. I'm guessing that young fellas who needed a few rounds could easily have dropped them in a pocket & walked out ..... Of course, those were the days when most folks treated each other respectfully.

I have vending machines and know just what type of vandalism and break in issues you can have with $1.25 items. I can't even comprehend the problems with $20 and up items. BAD idea.

Bullets?? Looks like loaded ammo to me. If he was selling reloading supplies he'd be selling bullets. Stupid people!

And I'm sure the price of ammo would be double as well. Back when cigarettes could be had almost anywhere for $2.50 a pack they were $5 in a vending machine.

In college we had two old coke machines. The old bottle style where you opened the door and pulled on your bottle and a regular can dispenser. The bottle one had long necks in it and the can one had cokes in a few slots, but various beers in the rest.

I was sent on a trip to Japan around 1994 or 5
I was surprised at the beer vending machines every where . several types and sizes . just drop in your money pick out the beer you wanted . like pop / soda machines here .
I ask how they kept the kids out , it was just honor and tradition the kids knew not too. ( I would bet some disobeyed [:D][}:)])
could you imagine having them here in the US , it would be a full time job filling them up [;)][:D]
I do not know if they still have them but my guess would be yes.AS F
as for the ammo vending , I would think if you can shoot a firearm there odds are they have ammo for sale ?

We had the eternal keg in a fridge in the basement.

IIRC, it rotated between PBR and Genessee Cream Ale.
