GB handled it, but this non paying bidder is CRAZY

OMG....we had a guy win a gun....he didn't pay. He had sent several emails saying he was going to pay, but FINALLY admitted he didn't have the money. I followed the NPB process and it was like a bell had been rung setting off this guy's "other personality"

Shelby and I started getting emails with lengthy crazy mess about past ordeals he has had and how the GB site was shady. He then left me bad feedback that said my name "Locust" was fitting. (Gun Broker removed it...Thank you!) He keeps on emailing nutty mess about his other unfair transaction.

No matter what I say he doesn't get it. Finally I have resorted to just sending him silly pictures as a response to his crazy messages.

I can't help but think this is an elderly person that just doesn't get how things work.

So, supposedly he has called the police and they are going to come get his records. I would LOVE to see the police look at these pictures I sent as a response to his emails.

The police are going to come and get his records?

What do the police want with a bunch of 33's?

They got CD players in those po-lease cars, but no record players....

Some people are proof that their folks never let them have Legos.

Otherwise they have choked to death as a child, and you would not be dealing with them.

What you describe is someone that should not be able to purchase a gun.

The start of it all...4/9 gun ended....4/26 payment reminder filed.

He responds to payment reminder on 4/26 saying "will return tomorrow....call you"

Shelby sends an email to him on 5/2 informing him that this gun will be relisted if not paid for before 5/4.

His reply to our "last chance" email.....I am sorry. I should have owned up at the beginning. I got involved in the auction process, knew it was going for cheap and committed to spend money I do not have to spend.

He replies to her email on 5/2 apologizing and says he never had the money for the gun. Since I know there is no need to wait I relisted the gun on 5/2 and followed through on the GB system to get the fees refunded and left his bad feedback.

(Here is where his crazy bell went ding ding ding starting us down the nut job path he is currently on.)

His email to Shelby on 5/2.....

I want you to know something. I bought and was willing to pay, immediate, and in fact did pay immediately, and the seller, just like you decided he made a mistake..So the way this SITE is run, it is OK for the SELLER to Renig but not for the buyer....it will be interesting to see where this runs ...tooo

His second email to Shelby on 5/2....

I am going to report this site to the news. Ikt is run entirely for the sellers at the buyers expense. And, I am saying I was not wrong here, I was. It is that a seller can refuse to deliver and there is not a recourse

His email to me this morning.....

How about YOU Look at My feedback from another seller. I paid, in FULL, Immediately, via the checkout process. He chose not to deliver. He even said you can post me feedback if you desire. He flaunted his power at me. I posted the proper feedback for him! He then gave me an F. I did everything right on that one. Here with you, I told the truth. Said what was going on and you say I am crazy. So, please explain why that was OK and my feedback which was truth full about you is not? Please educate me. And, i bet since you are a large seller, you will get your way. What they allowed to happen to me was wrong. it is their system. I have to live with it. Grow up and act like a man even if you are not. I told you the truth and you chose to slam me FOR BEING HONEST but I am not allowed to slam you back for being jerk and not understanding. i would have even paid your cost if they did not refund. I TOLD THE TRUTH.

My first email to him through this whole thing....

Get ready to hear from Gun Broker. I will have the F you left us removed and my bad feedback will stay on your account. You are a non paying bidder.....you deserved your feedback and you are a total INSANE person for thinking you get to leave us any kind of negative mark. It will be gone soon, but you need to know a non paying bidder does not get to give a seller a bad mark. You wasted our time for nearly a month with promises to pay and FINALLY sent an email saying you never had the money. HOW you think that is something that gives you the right to leave us bad feedback is beyond crazy.

Good luck with the rest of your days....you are blocked from our auctions forever.

    His reply to me.....

Reallly. Look at ,y feedback from another seller. Only I paid, in FULL, Immediately, and he chose not to deliver. When I posted the proper feedback for him, he gave me an F. So, please explain why that was OK and my feedback which was truth full was not in this case.

    Me to him.....

I have nothing at all to do with any other seller.....our transaction that is between us was not followed through and its ALL YOUR FAULT....not mine at all. I bet you go to Walmart and complain about crap you bought from Target and expect Walmart to be responsible.

    His reply....

i told the truth. If this site was run properly wyou would not have been able to do what you did.

    My reply....

I left bad feedback on a non paying bidder......you are a non paying bidder.....you deserve an F. I have no clue why you do not see this.

    His reply....

You send me another e-mail and I am contacting the police...leave me alone JERK

I am inspired to send him this....

    Britches_zpscqhqaxdd.jpg

    He sends me.....

I JUST CALLED THE POLICE THEY ARE COMING TO GET MY RECORDS. I WAS TOLD BY THEM TO TELL YOU NOT TO CONTACT ME AGAIN, THEN YOU DID. LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS FROM HERE.....JERK

    I send him.....

    *_stole_my_fish_funny_picture_zpshb2sqaml.jpg

    His reply....

I am sending everyone one of these to GunBroker...I am sure your money is important to them but involving them in illegal activities is not something they will appreciate. You were told to cease communications, instead, you threaten me call me name and more. do hyu really know what you think because I am told you crossed the line...

I thought he would appreciate this one....

    safety_zpslchpcym9.jpg

I said there were no threats....just photo responses to his never ending crazy emails. If he emails again I'm sending that GIF over!

So who is the advocate for the buyers who get screwed over by the sellers?

This fellas email seemed rather polite, and I believe could have easily been diffused and transaction completed with both parties happy.

GB is always the advocate for BOTH parties. The buyers responsibility is to pay within the terms of the auction, feed back should be left by the seller immediately upon receipt of payment. The seller is bound to deliver the item as described. If the seller does not deliver the item GB will go after them and make their lives very uncomfortable. I am sure some of the listing fees are used to pay top drawer lawyers to make contract breakers lives a living hell.

    WHAT!

This guy dinks around for nearly a month.....FINALLY reveals that he never intended to pay....we follow the GB procedure of filing a NPB report and giving him his F he deserves....he goes BONKERS and you think he was "reasonable?"

Does someone come into your house and toss wet turds on you every morning and its just an uphill day from that moment on?

    Reasonable?

I think he got the point when I said I'm just replying to his never ending emails with inspirational photos.....and he stopped. So, hopefully it is over.

I get a non paying bidder every once in a while, but its rare to have someone keep telling us that they are going to pay when they KNOW they are not going to. I've suspected that some try that just to avoid me being able to file the non paying bidder report on them, but I try not to let things fester that long.

Is this response your standard practice when things don't go your way? Sorry you don't have the customer service skills needed to get the good results. Sorry you are having a bad day.

I read a few of your rants here about bad buyers, maybe it's time to revisit the seller customer service basics?

You can get all crappy with me here, because... "Gun Broker Got yer back". Sorry, sometimes buyers have bad days too. And it was obvious this buyer got shafted by another seller and GB did not have their back.

Sorry you can't figure out how to turn disgruntled buyers into loyal customers. Hope you do better next time. [;)]

Your definition of "customer" is a lot different than mine. I call someone that PAYS for an item a customer. I have 58 guns running right now and my feedback is over 8300 right now. This is an operation that is all done by two women that look like high school lunch ladies. I'm not kissing anyone's rump that wastes our time.

Well, maybe that is true, but then this is a big site and maybe they can't get to all of them as well.

I was looking to buy a Ruger Mk IV and ran across one reasonably priced. I checked to see shipping and rules etc, then read the feedback of big time seller.

This guy had A+ rating and lots of complaints. Complaints for not having the item sold at the auction. Then sticking it to the buyers and dragging them through all the hoops and relying on, "It's say is the auction I can sell local" to weasel out of the sale.

That is BULLPUCKY, for any auction. But the guy is a big time seller, so gets away with it. GB could easily say one more time you sell something and don't have it, you're otta here, but they don't.

I get that an item can get broke or lost, but this seller had a very high number of these cases, and then blamed the buyer for it. Really? You bid and win an auction and the seller won't complete it after taking your money, because they sold it in the shop? Of course they eventually refund, so no harm no foul right?

Sorry Bpost, there are alot of sellers at GB treating buyers very poorly here.
