Trade in on The Enterprise

Rather than decommissioning the Carrier Enterprise , why not trade it to the Russians for say Siberia or Ural? They have to tow their carrier around while we have a nice low mileage carrier optioned out with all the 60's features. They got a close look at it in '62 off Cuba. Sounds like a Trump "America First" opportunity [:)]

    There is a century of carrier operation experience built into the design and systems of the Big E. It would be a treasure trove of details that were perfected during WW2, and all susequent actions prior to its last major upgrade. A few parcels of land would not be worth it, IMO.
