I have always been a fan of Sig Sauer pistols. Was looking at getting a P232 as a possible CCW. I know it is only a .380 however a .380 is better than nothing. They look like they would be ideal for concealed carry. ANy pros or cons? thanks

Dead solid reliable and accurate. A bit bulky for the cartridge. If you get the all steel version, it is a bit heavy as well. Being straight blowback, the recoil is surprisingly brisk. My Colt Pony Pocketlite, even though a lot smaller and lighter, is more pleasant to shoot, because it is a locked-breech design.

For about the same money, and about the same size and weight, you can get one of the compact polymer-frame Kahrs in 9mm, .40, or .45.

A great CCW. I prefer the blued model because it is considerably lighter and therefore easier to tote around all day. Easy to point, very accurate and a sleek, slim design with several grip options, available with factory night sights and three models to pick from, the P232 is one of my favorites.
