What are you going to buy next ?...I have my eye on the silver Henry AR-7

It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it...

I have been thinking of a nice .22 rifle. Squirrel season opens in 15 days, and I think I might want to put some in the freezer this year. As I told my wife, this will be the last one.
    Yeah right!

Maybe some Benelli Super 90 M3 Practical with magazine extencion or a Winchester Super X2 Hunter with 8-shot capacity extencion.

Might consider a Blaser R93 LRS2 in .338Lapua (for sheer fun!!)

If the next gun is to be cheap or if I stumble over something - it could be anything. =o)

But for hunting or targeting purposes - I just need a shotgun. Have the rifles I'd want.

    Regards
    Peter E Jeppesen.

I love my silenced .22 Anshutz rifle =o) Now also my Steyr Scout in .308W. ;o_ (Got a Schmidt&Bender 1.5-6*42 on it..)
    Those guns are YUMMMYYYY !

Am really looking for an original Colt 1911 in .38 Super but am finding them hard to find at a reasonable price. Found one but it is still a little too rich for my blood. A few have said some of the old Colts should be available for around $700.....boy I'm still looking!! Beach

just put a deposit down on a Dan Wesson model 15 revolver. 6 inch heavy vent rib target barrel in .357 mag. it has adjustable target sights, pachmyer target grips, and a shiny jet black finish. its big, heavy, and i am told it is a tack driver. i also just purchased a savage model 1909 slide action .22 rimfire rifle to be my "project/hobby" gun. i have been considering some oddball guns like the broomhandle mauser, or perhaps one of those bayard-bergman semiautos. for now the bank is broke and my pockets are empty. if only there were more diamond in the ruff bargains hidden in the local gunshops.

See my "going gun shopping" post.
I'm hoping the Contender deal goes through. After this round of trading my want list looks like this.

    1) CZ 550 fs in 7x57 mauser.
    2) CZ 527 American in 22 Hornet or maybe in .222 Rem.
    3) CETME !!
    4) Rook rifle in .360 #5
    5) 10 bore SxS hammer gun (if I can find one I can afford)
    6) Colt Woodsman or High standard model B (shooter condition)

Only one I am trying to get right now is---trade my friend out
of an Oly AR shorty I sold him about 10 years ago. Will probably
cost me a lot more than he paid, but it is one of the very good ones.

Don't send flowers when I die. Send money now, I can buy more ammo.

Something easier to carry than my 4" 586, but I'm not really in a hurry.

The next gun I get will be the one that is the right price. Just looking for accessories and ammo right now. Picked up 1000 rounds of 9mm and 250 rounds of 12 ga. today at the gun show. Anyone ever shoot Wolf shotgun ammo?

If I knew then, what I know now.

I dunno....I'm getting married in a few days, and she seems to think that every time I get a gun she should get a diamond. I am looking for a stainless Colt 1991A1 Commander. Plus, I have a couple guns on layaway. I'll be sneaky as long as I can

I am planning on a Smith & Wesson made PPK or PPK/S but then I could surprise myself with a nickel plated Beretta 84FS Cheetah or a Sig Sauer 239 [^]

I know it's not a gun but my next major purchase is going to be binoculars. I looked at the Swarovski slc's and the Leica's the other day and think I am going with the Swarovski's. I liked the Leicas better but they were a couple hundred more. My budget at this time will only allow for around 1000 bucks, I think this is legitimate and is totally related to hunting. Any input on the binoc purchase would be appreciated. As for the next gun I think I want to get a 1911 of some sorts. I have a sig p220sc which is a sweet 45 but I think I want to get a nice basic 1911 in stainless that I can customize with add ons to make a home spun custom.

    Wellllll..

Will be going to a gunshow in two weeks.

    On the list

Swedish Mauser (matching #'s would be great...but if I find a non matching - then it WILL get a scope added to it)

Reasonably priced walnut stocked Swiss K31

Rear sight for my Winchester 69A (missing - purchased this way for $50...but do not have the rear peep sight)

Have a M91/30 on lawaway right now...all matching, literally...looks NEW.

Would like an AK parts kit, so that I can build one.

As 4 wheeler said, a contender is a curse... on the wallet. I just bought a 45-70 bbl that I haven't shot yet and am looking for another bbl as we speak. The barrels aren't that expensive, but then I need a scope and mounts and reloading dies and brass and bullets and powder and.........[:)]

Believe it or not my next will be a Ruger Mark II or III in SS with a bull, slab, or fluted (if available) bbl. My nephew shot my Colt Huntsman last weekend and fell in love. The kid is damn good and I want to get something that can showcase his tallent.

    After that....Kimber.
