That was surprisingly good. Dakota Fanning is a pretty good actor. Sean Penn is an * (in real life) but he was good as well.

sean penn just reprised his role as spicolli from "fast times at ridgemont high" left out the long hair and the bevis laugh...nope I think he still had it

I thought it was a great movie. The main reason I thought so? My wife works with severely handicapped kids at school. If you really knew them you'd realize that they don't let their handicap get them down, or between them and their lifelong dream. Some of them have had it much worse than any of us, yet they love every waking moment of life.
