i know there has to be mysterious powers involved dealing with loosing 1 sock in a matched pair, but why is it when i need a Phillips stubby screw driver all i can find are standard{flat}, and when i need a standard all i can find is Phillips, i own 2 of each, but now i pop up with 3 of one kind

I always made it a habit of buying a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver at least once every couple of months from Sears. Still, I could never catch up with the Black Hole thing. Black Holes breed, you know....like rabbits. [}:)][}:)]

All of this just further proves my theory of the little green gremlins that live under the floor boards in everyones house that only take whatever the object is that is most needed for the day then conviniantly put it back when you not looking for it, only because they knew you were looking for something else and they took that too. My grandad says he is gonna build a trap and catch one then everyone will believe our theory. He put a trap before and caught one of them it was called my mother. (the trap was a mouse trap placed on top of his cigarrettes.) He heard the snap and said I caught a rat then checked everyones hands in the morning.

At my house, we call it "someplace safe". I don't know how many things I've put "someplace safe"; and, not been able to locate them again. They're safe alright. So safe even the wife and I can't find them.

When something like that happens,
my grandpa always said your best bet is to pretend your calling a company to order one, because usually right after you hang the phone up.

if I put something down, all I have to do is turn my head and it disappears. I spend about 5 minutes looking for it, when I just set it down right next to me. drives me nuts.
