    At age 50, she looks like a tired, worn out old prostitute.
    The POS should have retired 10 years ago.
    But then, I didn't like her when she was 30. Dancing around on MTV with leather bra and panties, she looked like a worn out prostitute even then.
    She has gotten farther on less talent than any other entertainer.

    I respect anyone who "makes it" in any field. In her case if her talent is self promotion rather musical talent so be it. Maybe if the big 3 had hired her as their Director of Advertising they might not need a bailout. Wish I had her talent. Not very good looking, considered a sex bomb. Can't sing, sells out concerts. Can't act makes millions. I can't act either, why isn't someone paying me millions?? My first thought is how lucky can you get. Further contemplation makes me wonder how hard she worked to get to where she is. Having said all this, I would go to a Madonna concert if the ticket was free and I didn't have to drive more than 5 miles.

    I wouldn't go to a Madonna concert if I had free VIP front row tickets and a limo came to pick me up.

    While I wouldn't go to one of her concerts and never cared for her music, I pretty much agree with all that.

    Madonna Louise Ciccone (real name) has my respect for her business acumen. She saw a market no one else knew existed, invented the product and keeps reinventing it to maintain sales. That product is her own persona. She makes a lot of money doing it, employs many people along the way.

    I've no interest in her as a sex symbol but don't get why people enjoy insulting her so much over it. Sex sells, it always has. Lots of other entertainers use the imagery of sex to sell themselves. How selling an image gets turned into this "skank" crapola I just don't get.

    At 54 years old she's had a long run in the public spotlight. Takes one heck of a sharp business mind to make that work in an industry that is all about promotion and image.

    Oh and the shoes are damned silly but perfectly harmless. Could care less what she wears or doesn't wear.
