Has these things gone up in prices like the High Caps or AR/AK?

Kind of ironic since it is very difficult to get .22 ammo right now but still pretty cool.

The advertisement I saw said suggested retail around $450. So I know I could not afford the kit and ammo both at the same time

"we pined the firring pin to .043", handlappped the slidefire to blueprint specs. Fires 10 shots into one hole at fiffty feet."

How could it possibly work reliably? It's nigh on impossible to bump fire 22lr.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

They say that it assists in bump firing but in reality, it allows you to move the trigger back and forth instead of your finger. So it is just a way to pull the trigger faster and therefore fire faster.

Lots of devices that do that already.

It's better than $8-$11K for a Norrell trigger group.

Correct. Its all about which method you want. Slidefire looks pretty fun. Not all that practical but definitely fun.

I've seen that too. IMO, the slidefire gives more a full auto feel while the bmf gives more of a gatling feel.

I think the actuator would be fun if you were creating something like this:

Probably works more reliably than the slide-fire stock. Just speculation, but I have used the rotary actuator, and it works quite nicely.

I would venture to say that the faster something causes it to fire, the less reliable it becomes.

The kit comes with a match trigger. You have to get the pull weight down for the 1022 to function with the Slide Fire.

...Fostech makes a lot better stock than the Slide Fire stock...feels better, works better and looks better, not plastic, all aluminum...AK/AR & 10/22...and inespensive adapters to change one stock to another gun, rather than buying several stocks...[;)]

I had something on a 10/22 years ago that strapped on with a pistol grip and a long trigger using rollers and you would rock it back and forth, I replaced the stock trigger spring with a extremely light one. it would empty the 50 round magazines quicker than you could count the rounds going off.
I don't remember who manufactured it but it would also fit a M1 without modification

My buds and I all had Hell Fire triggers on are 1022's. Once you got it down a 30 rounder was a mere couple of seconds. Now that I'm a little older I try to hit what I aim at.
