Gun Repair help

From time to time I have a pistol or rifle that needs repair, mostly semi auto pistols. I'm looking for a book that I can buy that would help me out. I was hoping to buy from the NRA since they have about 20 books for sale. Most trouble with firearms seem to be ftf or eject or jamming. Anyway what book or books should I buy that you would recommend. Thanks in advance.

Gun Digest has a lot of good books. (on-line store)

Gunsmith Kinks or any of the Kuhnhausen books available for your Pistol. I have the one on Ruger revolvers and it is incredibily in depth, past the abilities of most shooters, I would say.

Once you decide upon a title, check Bookfinder.com for lowest prices. A book search engine that looks at hundreds of sites for the title/author and lists new and used options in ascending price order.

Kuhnhausen books for in depth, complete 'smithing info. Gun Digest books for general takedown, cleaning, etc.
Brownell's Gunsmith Kinks for good reading, tips, etc. (I think I have all except the newest one).

YOUTUBEI found it a lot easier to go on youtube and watch the video on how to repair a gun and then do it. The only books I bought were for my M1 Garand and my Winchester model 88 and that is because they were signed by the author and are collector items.
