They are going to kill someone

Is what I said to my son, as a jeep passed us the other day. The roads were a sheet of ice and snow and I could only drive 30mph. Even at that speed, I was having trouble. A jeep Cherokee passed us doing about 60 or 70 mph. I caught up to them an hour later after sitting in a traffic jam. They lost control, hit a guy and his car on the shoulder of the road, went down in a ditch and blew up.Both occupants of the jeep burned to death and the guy fixing his flat tire is in critical condition. This was on the Atlantic city expressway. We saw four accidents in five miles and the news stated that the one we saw, caused more then twenty more accidents, due to people coming up to stopped traffic. Very sad. Guess they won't be in a rush anymore. Went by there again today and the grass is all burned from the fire and the glass and skid marks are real deep in the pavement. A construction crew is fixing the highway. My best guess is they rolled before impact with the other car and tore the road up. Oakie

It's sad but some people have to learn the hard way. I feel bad for their families.

Sorry for the loss of the Jeep. Not so much for the idiot driver.
Good Jeeps are getting hard to find but idiots are everywhere.

4X4 [V] people still struggle with the fact ice is not a good driving surface for daily drivers and four wheel drive will still slide .
my thoughts are with the families and the innocent fellow in the wrong place

as my nick name implies I spent a lot of learning time in the ditches , but I was always by my self and away from traffic when I was pushing the limits , got lucky many times ,

Too many people forget that it's 4-wheel GO, not 4-wheel STOP.
Too bad for all those involved. [V]

Experience is a hard task master but it allows most to live, just not all. My thoughts are with the families.

The gene pool has its own chlorine. Bad part is that sometimes it gets spilled on the wrong ones[:(]
