    That is kind of cool but BAR's are so heavy and are a real PITA to disassemble. Like most of JMB's rifle designs the BAR is complicated and every part on them is almost over engineered and massive.

    But they are old school cool[:D]

    That would be super fun to shoot heavy class 3-gun with, that way you can get away from every one shooting M1A's and AR-10's, you won't win, but it would be fun.

    Laredo Lefty once shot a 3-Gun match with a Simi-Auto M-60, he never had to reload, only need to put in large enough of a belt for the stage

    Yep Bryant, that thing is heavy to run around with and tripping on the belt can get you hurt.

    I have a semi BAR and might try it for 3-gun sometime. Shot 3-gun last sat and saw 2 rattlers at the range. Its watch your step time of year.

    Joe, I would be out there with you if my legs still worked, but it is kind of difficult to run and gun when your hardly walking with a cane.[B)]

    One of those HCAR's are right up your ally, arn't you a preferred customer with OOW?

    With a 30-06 round it seems a barrel longer than 16.5" would be in order for improved down range velocity.

    Am I wrong?
