I have those same thoughts. I told my wife we are the minority, there are to many out there looking for their free handouts, and amnesty

His message is clear and true. The Clintons sold out the working folk in Michigan, Pa, Etc. NAFTA took thier jobs overseas. Now they can vote for true change.

Well, I can't believe this, but Mikey said it the right way. Still a bag of air, but that was good.

Ha, posted this in the politics forum several days ago and asked

Topic: WHO SAID THIS ABOUT TRUMP ?

"Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said if you close these factories as you're planning to do in Detroit and planning to build them in Mexico, I'm gonna put a 35 percent tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobody's gonna buy them. It was an amazing thing to see, no politician Republican or Democrat had ever said anything like that to these executives and it was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, the Brexit states.

Hard to believe he said it.

Not many people on that Forum, but figured someone would run across it. Looks like they did, only here, this thread.

He's not riling up the Democrats and he's not the only person who understands the problem with them.

He won't do it. The DC power brokers will show him the money and he will change his mind.

Try to be optimistic. You should be "tickled to death' NOT TO be from Germany or Sweden who have let their LEADERS destroy their countries,, well,, destroy is a little overkill,, except they both will never be the same, Sweden for sure.

Posts about Sweden on GB from a while back.

QUOTE: The latter result is more in line with Gallup polling in 2010 that found that 31% of Americans identified as Democrats (tying a 22-year low), 29% as Republicans, and 38% as independents.[5] Nevertheless, more American independents leaned to the Republican Party when compared to the Democratic Party. Combining leaners with each party's core identifiers, the parties ended up tied at 45 percent in 2011.[6]

Moore is a hildabeast supporter. That speech was an "oh no look what we're up against".
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Saw this several days ago and hadn't heard ANYTHING about Moore prior to this "announcement". So what's to gain ?

There might a hidden agenda but I've never thought of him as capable of being devious.

Moore was a Big Bernie supporter, and has nothing good to say about Cliton.

Possibly he dislikes Cliton so much he's backing TRUMP rather than just staying quite.

Trump don't need their money. He's got more than he can ever spend which makes him nobody's hand puppet.

NAFTA did not take their jobs to Mexico. The companies were moving into Mexico decades before NAFTA. Trump is somewhat vague on actual history.

A good friend of mine worked for GM in Juarez in the early 80's.

Michael Moore is a serious POS. If it were up to him we'd all be stripped of our firearms and placed in re-education camps. He may be correctly identifying a movement, but have no doubt he is not a supporter of it. He is the enemy.

    Some thoughts...

Moore is ultra liberal. He has that right.

Moore is wealthy. While the majority of us here may not much like Moore or his politics, from what I understand he isn't a crook.

Moore doesn't always practice what he preaches. I don't see him sheltering all those illegals he so vigorously supports.

Moore may be a windbag, but he's not brainless.

Moore may be incorrect about NAFTA but he's not incorrect about our rotten politicians.

Moore doesn't much care for Trump. Then again, I don't either. That said, Trump is a saint compared to the beast and possibly Moore has come to the same conclusion as have I. Much better to elect a egotistical candidate with no political experience and a knack for choosing the very best advisors than to elect scum.

Has my opinion of Moore changed? No! He's on the wrong side of about every issue as far as I'm concerned. Moore defines almost everything I'm against, however he has that right. In this case Moore and I seem to agree at least in principle and I applaud his stand against the insiders in Washington. For the time being, if Moore is being honest, I'd be happy to place my differences with Moore aside in a quest to clean the rot out from inside the beltway.

What people are posting is just his lead in to why people shouldn't vote for Trump and how disastrous he thinks it would be for the country. It is a movie promotion, the movie is all pro Clinton and anti Trump.

Like I posted. Now for the rest of the story..................
