Hey SPRYOR i got hummers now. put the feeders our and i gottem. dont know why i couldnt gettem last year. thanks for all the help

    They're mine, and I want em back.lol For some reason my flock is few so far. Glad you finally have some coming in. They're a joy to watch.

    Saw the first one since spring broke yesterday afternoon. He took off like a rocket when he saw me. Always takes em a few weeks to get used to us again. Amazing creatures to say the least.

    I had a thought yesterday....what would happen if I put Red Bull energy drink in the feeder instead of sugar water??? Maybe they'd break the speed of sound on that stuff![:D][:o)][:D]

    Don't know where you guys are. If in the east you have one species. In the west we have a lot more, we see at least 3 species in our yard each year. They arrive each and every year on April 12, 13, or 14. One of our feeders is by the front door. When the first one is seen hovering outside the door looking for lunch, the feeders go up.

    Same here, they generally show on the 15th. My feeder hangs directly in front of a low window, that I can see from my desk here, so they seldom go empty. Seems I only have about 4 so far, but usually hundreds.

    HE DOG i am in missouri here at tablerock lake. i think these hummers would rather fight that eat. really fun to watch.
