I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly

That wasn't made by Colt. It was made in Germany under LICENSE from Colt as indicated on the slide.

Ok, I knew someone was gonna point that out. I almost edited the thread but then didn't.

My point was I didn't know such 1911-A1 pellet guns existed.

Of course, the things I don't know borders on the infinite.

Germans make a lot of different pellet-gun versions of real guns.

They also take original guns and deactivate them, only to shoot blanks.
They also make copies of real guns, for the purpose of shooting blanks - the blankshooting guns are part of the law there, for self-defence or attencion-getter.

The cartridges are usually just gunpowder that gives a loud noise to attract attencion - or gunpowder/CS-crystals as noise/deterrent or gunpowder/pepper also as noise/deterrent.

It doesn't look like it's the original case though.
I usually see a better-looking job in that area.

Nice little basement gun. I bought one new when they first came out. They are guaranteed to shoot 1" groups at 30 ft. That looks like origional case also.

There's an Airsoft copy of just about all important handgun designs.
I find sites of them when surfing, all European.
