My Dad was a fireman for 19 years as a voluntary fireman. I have been to many fires where my Mom was gone and Dad let me go.
To me there is nothing worse than a fire. I have seen some things that i wish i have never seen. I will not go to sleep with the dryer on because of this.
I have seen my Dad run into a building and stay for a few minuets then come out throw up some and go right back in.
Prayers asked for everyone that is close to the fire. I have seen fires take everything from familys and it will tear you up.
God Bless

We have had several in the last few days that start at a Homeless area. This is an illegal area for them, but an easy place to set up. Right in a wetlands protected area. And in a drought time these places are a tinder box.
GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Nearly 60 fires have been reported since lightning started hitting southern Oregon around 2 a.m. this morning, according to Jim Whittington, public affairs officer for the Bureau of Land Management.
The fires are within 1 to 5 acres in size, but the locations of the fires are proving to be troublesome. A portion of the fires are in extremely difficult country and crews are frequently receiving reports of additional fires.
The BLM suspects the active fires aligned with slope and fuels are likely to grow in size during the afternoon, according to Whittington.
Fire agencies in the area are spotting and reporting the beginnings of fires in the area in an effort to configure firefighter and aerial responses to the starts.
Since the 8 a.m. report of fires west of Grants Pass, the number of fires has increased to approximately 20 fires on territory managed by the Oregon Department of Forestry and the Bureau of Land Management. Additional crew, engine and are resources have been ordered, according to the press release.
