Any idea that starts with "All you have to do is..." will not work.
Ours were recklessly overloaded, but they were a real pig. Lucky to get 300 fpm climb rate after takeoff, and we could not maintain level flight on one engine.
I'm told the pure civvie ones are a lot better, but you still get not much more than single-engine performance with twin-engine fuel use.
