well I got the pump changed out and all the lines are open now
im getting gas to the carb but still will not start, but I did find that a rat had chewed the #2 and 3 spark plug wire into so Im waiting on new wires to get here now but I dont see where that would keep it starting, looks like a carb rebuild is on the way

also the damn rats have chewed a few other things that im not sure what they are anyone know what these are

I agree taz. If you have fuel to the carb and all your other comments are correct, you have a carb problem. I don't think the plug wires are your main problem.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

well I got it running, had to prim thecarb bowel ince it had sit so long.changedout the plugs and wires. you have to pour a little gas in thecarb to get it to start the first time but once she warms up she will start back up. may end up rebuilding the carb a little later, but next step is to change out the clutch [:D]

Are you sure the clutch is bad?? I would think if they had the trans & transfer case out they would have replaced the clutch at the same time. Is it a Hyd. Clutch? may be problems with that system, if it is a manual clutch it may be seized up from non use. If it has a Cable it may be seizing inside the cable housing.

Just thought about this. There is a AAP diapham on the side of the carb. If you get a lot of black smoke(like flooding) it went bad. As long as it sat that could be a problem. We used to plug the vacuum hose going to it to test. On my truck, I plugged it and left it that way. Doesn't hurt a thing.

im not sure I have to start looking at it, all I know is that when i push the clutch in in goes to the floor without any pressure at all but comes back up fine. when its pushed to the floor its still not engaged and can not be put in gear. Iv order a repair manuel for the little truck so that I can see have everything works and how to fix it all [:p][:D]

Check the clutch master cylinder for fluid first [;)]
The slave cylinder on the bell housing leak.
In 22yrs I replaced a lot of them.
