It was disgusting 25 years ago.

    It remains disgusting today.

I would like to try em, but have yet to visit the Phillipines. I love kimshe though. I did not realize that they Koreans use raw oysters as the starter bacteria to make it until I saw a program on the food channel. Still like it though.

I may not like Balut. But would kill to have some good home cooked Lumpia.[:o)]

Been years. When I lived in Calif many years ago. My Upstairs neighbor was, One my Boss and his wife was from there. Well she loved fish and the fresher the better. Well he husband did not like to fish.

I went fishing any chance I got(Note Daily) Gave her most of them.

She in return would make up a Batch of Lumpia. They even had a going away party at their place. She made two batched of lumpia one for everybody and one just for me.

I have found it a few times since then, such as an Asian Festival. But it just was not the same. Think it was her sauce.

I'm starting to Drool just thinking about it.[:o)]
