no sympathy from me..happened not far from my home ...could have killed others (my daughter and grandbabies) had she not hit the big truck.....i want to yank people out when i see it and slap them

    Lost my cousin marcy, two years ago from doing the same thing. She was texting and driving at the same time. Killed herself, her passenger and the driver of the other car. Really makes you mad.Just don't get kids today.

    No we're not.

    I do not answer my phone while I'm driving and I certainly don't attempt to text or even read a text.

    That is a dumb b****. A miracle she didn't kill somebody.
    I spend 11 hours a day driving the roads. When I see a driver doing something really stupid, it is usually a female using a cell phone.

    saw a woman going over an overpass down the oncoming lane with her face in the rearview mirror putting on eye makeup at 7:45 one morning as I was going to the lake...duuhhhhh

    It's a shame she had to hit the truck before she cashed out. Why couldn't she have just hit a tree and had it done with instead of having to involve someone just doing their job?

    I agree. Almost every time somebody does something stupid or rude in an auto around me, sure enough they are peering into a phone. In addition, it's a big fine here, but every leo I see is on the phone, why is that?( Except CHP)
