Just saw a Fox News reporter stating that the search of Adam Lanza's home after the Sandy Hook shooting recovered over 400 rounds of .22 ammo among other ammo. Just imagine.....400 rds. Unbelievable.

Wait, you forgot the "arsenal" of weapons that they found, as well.

I thought I heard that she had 1K rounds --- can you imagine?

What the heck defines an "arsenal" of weapons?

To me, an arsenal would be geared towards the use of multiple people, and not odds and ends, whereby, everybody would have something different/no continuity.

Anyway, I haven't looked up what defines an "arsenal", but I know I'm tired of the word being used to describe somebody's collection of firearms, and or, related stuff.

CNN International said it was 140 rounds and an arsenal of, a shot gun, a .22 and a bolt action rifle. And clips, he had clips, actual deadly and all destructive clips.

The wife asked me what I was doing, I told her I was watching the high capacity, * orifices, on CNN make fools of themselves.

Cut and pasted from CNN a minute ago:

Investigators found more than 1,600 rounds of ammunition in the house, and a holiday card with a check "made out to Adam Lanza for the purchase of a C183 (firearm), authored by Nancy Lanza," according to a search warrant.

    <yawn> again...

    Arsenal Has no common defination.
I searched and found it is a place to work on military equipment. A place to store guns and equipment and also as a facility and not to how many firearms are stored.
So it is the same as "High Power Rifle", meaning; It is what you want it to mean.

The very sad thing is there are A LOT of dumb idiots out there that will believe he had enough arms/ammo to start WWIII.

Remeber: Guns and ammo are BAD BAD BAD .... which of course is why those that want guns banned will call a cop WITH A GUN when they are in trouble.
    [:0]

I hope with all the exposure that ammo is getting right now that many would understand this isn't incredible.

The gun haters are already there, they will not change. Hopefully the ones that haven't a dog in the fight come over to our side.

There were many who noted that the firearms, reportedly owned by Mommy and taken by butt-boy during/after her killing were most likely his, purchased by mommy for him.

This was to counter arguments that stricter mental health intrusion by Government, and strict storage laws would have made any difference at all.

Crap happens. Mommy has blood on her hands because she knowingly purchased firearms for someone we are led to believe she knew was unstable.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

What about family. Saying the government is responsible for the mentally ill is like saying they are responsible for feeding all the hungry.

The mother knew of his issues and gave him money to buy a firearm? Ain't THAT a kick in the pants!

I worked ,for 32 years in a state run mental hospital with mentally ill teenagers ,many of which could have passed for this slime buckets twin .Given his mothers education and what we know, she KNEW how sick her son was . It was /is the ultimate folly and stupidest thing she could have done to have allowed this child any type of access to any weapons let alone a gun .Yes he bears responsibility for his actions but sadly she is also responsible, at least indirectly for what happened even though I hate to speak ill of the dead.

Um how did she give him a check to purchase a gun... That would be a no no in any shop I've been in. Even my local store wouldn't allow that and they know me by name.
