Wonder if he is Kicking himself for not taking the Ducks up on their offer.

Me I'm Glad he did not come back.

As much as I dislike Kelly, I can't say the state of the 49ers is his fault. Next year, they will begin the 4th season in a row with a new coach. Hardly a management plan aimed for success.

I bet LSU fans are thanking their lucky stars that they were able to lock up Ed Ogeron so they wouldn't have to settle with Chip Kelly.

The Eagles imploded during his tenure. He literally dismantled a contender in under two years. All of the guys he got rid of, went on to better careers. After seeing and hearing all he did in Philly, the 49ers, jumped at the chance to hire him. They deserved to have that one trick pony. You cannot run that college offence and defense in the NFL. Players on the defensive side complained it wore them down and therefor, they gave up a lot of games. The first year was good, until everyone figured out his schemes. After that, he was done. He doesn't know how to change it up enough to continue at this level. It took Philly almost 3 years what the 49ers figured out in less then one. I here Cleveland is looking for a new coach soon[;)].
