The 10 biggest beer brands

Sure, Budweiser and Heinken have spots on the list, as expected. But there's also a selection of international beers just now becoming popular in the U.S.
And just try to guess the top beer label as ranked by trade publication the Drinks Business - it's one that most Americans have never heard of
But while mainstream labels still dominate the market, beer from small and independent makers are outperforming them.
Through the first half of 2012, dollar sales for craft brews are up 14%, according to the Brewers Assn. industry group. As a whole, beer companies saw sales slip 1% in 2011.

Japanese brand Asahi Super Dry is now available in more than 50 countries and sold 12.3 million barrels last year, up 2.5% from 12 million barrels in 2010. Owner Asahi Group Holdings saw its beer shipments fall overall last year, but the company still holds a 38% share of the Japanese beer market, beating out Kirin Holdings Co.
9. Brahma

Wonder if they use the yellow snow.[xx(]
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Interesting that the top three are also the worst. Go figure.
Even when I was drinking heavy and it was free #2 and 3 I would not drink. Did not ever hear of #1.
+1

Hamms, Grainbelt, Schmidts were the main beers in MN in the drinking beer days for me.
Schell's?
Utica Club
Genesee Cream Ale
Genesee Beer
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Schlitz
Schaefer
Miller High Life
Rolling Rock
Stroh's used to be the #1 seller in West Virginia.
And North Carolina at least when I was out there.
Only one worth drinking.... Heineken.
I guess I'll stick to Tuborg and Carlsberg in different variants.
Next time Check the label and follow the chain who they are owned by.[;)]
Oh I know what Carlsberg Group owns....
I was relating to the individual types of beer, not the owners.
Budweiser is like a Tuborg Light, or even Tuborg NAB (NonAlcBeer). To mee... tasteless.
Next time Check the label and follow the chain who they are owned by.[;)]
Try Tuborg Copenhagen (should have a "gold foil"-type thing around the bottleneck - or Carlsberg Elephant, and see where I'm "coming from".
Do you remember these;
Pearl, Lone star, dixie 45, Jax
Falstaff( I quit drining it and so did millions more when they donated 1 million bucks to the Naacp),, [xx(][xx(][8]
they were done with in 3 years
The best beer I ever drank was Stuttgarter Hofbrau [:)]
Better than Coors Light.
