Accurate rifle or "bullet hose"?

I hear them at the range. Firing their AK's and SKS's. They can't hit anything but they make a lot of noise. Macho men? Ha! Meanwhile I fire one round and zap what I aimed at. Real men only need one shot.

i cant say a whole lot because i used to one of those ak and sks rapid shooters but any more i cant stand it. I like the one shot or three shot group range trips now for sure. My friend and i usually bring a cooler of cokes and shoot the bull and talk to other gun owners just as much as the actual trigger time

Yeah, me too. I used to shoot an MP-5. I could shoot more in one minute than I could load in a day. Sold it when I needed cash. Glad I got that out of my system.

Yeah, stinking kids. Should be a law against it.

A "hose" is for putting out fires. Problem is most hose owners would run from that kind of fire.

    Funny

THOUGHT GOING TO THE RANGE WAS TO HAVE FUN AND SHOOT GUNS.

What fun is it if you only take 10 rounds and shoot all day in the same hole

my car speed odometer says it will do 175 but i don't try to reach that speed every time i drive it.

I have an SKS an AK and an AR. Just because it has a 20+ round mag does not mean you have to empty it as fast as you can.

I may not have dime size groups at 100yd but there all in a 9in paper plate. I do believe that would be a kill zone shot.

normal day ill take 3-8 guns and shoot 3-7 hundred rounds and be there most all day long and finish up with some trap.

On a slower day that I want dime size groups ill take a bolt action BSA target 22.

If they are shooting at all, it beats them being antigunners.

Due to possibilities of ammo availability I have both, but the AR is my go-to rifle.

They're actually both good rifles for use at realistic defensive ranges.

my buddies and I would do something like that. But it was hardly blind firing, we were trying to get AIMED SHOTS off as quickly as possible and see what sort of accuracy we could get.

Groups were unimpressive, but if that was a hostile human out at 100 yards, he'd be deader than a doornail [;)]

What about an AR small groups and lots of rounds. Or even the one that really goes boom. M1 Garand.

Or if the guy to my right is firing a Big gun that really goes Boom. I break out the AK I've gotten really good at small groups with the shells.
