A little update on the fires burning here in Oregon.
Check out the website below for the Soda Fire in Idaho. Dang near 300,000 acres burned so far. Honestly, that's one of the best things that could happen in that area. It's needed a good fire for years.

Now we have an Idiot out starting Fires in Bend Oregon. Like the Fire Crews are not already way to Busy.

Hope the Jones and Rebel fire don't merge. That would be a Poop storm. The good part containment is a plus on both. But as an X Calfire guy, I have seen stuff go from 80% containment back to out of control. If your in the area Don't let your guard down.

We've been lucky so far up in the NE corner. A few small fires and all have been contained/extinguished pretty quick. Keeping our fingers crossed for the rest of the season.

The Big Fire near me they Pulled a big bunch of the crew off and transferred them to the Really Big fire Near Sisters Oregon.

But from what I've read Between Sisters and a town in southern Oregon we may lose one of them.
