They have been up and down the streets and flying over in helicopters helping The people of NJ. Thank god we have these brave young men and women!!!!!!!!!Also a big thank you to the national guard. There when you really need them.[;)][:)][:)]

+1 I used to see them all the time around Kodiak Island (largest USCG base in the world I believe). They don;t get enough recognition.

They did a great job rescuing the survivors of the HMS Bounty off Cape Hatteras during Hurricane Sandy, too. They also recovered one of the two missing crew members in those rough seas and are still looking for the Captain.

Here in Oregon we have the Rough water rescue group. Them guys and gals are Nuts. But they do save Lives.
