Do you carry an extra magazine or speed loader?

With all the crime in my area involving more than one assailant, I've come to the conclusion that my 8 rounds (1 in chamber/7 in mag) is not enough and started thinking about buying a magazine pouch for an extra magazine.

Never can tell when the target practice urge may strike.
Mule
2 17 round mags in a mag holder at the ready in each car door
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Better to have enough than wishing I had brought more....[;)]
Not typically. I have a spare mag in each vehicle. If I fell the need I'll grab ithe before I leave the car. Typically I try to avoid areas where I think I might need to reload.
So tell me where this utopia that is divested of radicical democrats is, that you speak of
These days you never know how many rounds you might need especially if an active shooter(s) comes up. And when I do carry a revolver I do have a couple speed strips or speed loaders in my pocket.
17+1 in the gun, 17 rounds on the other side

The .380, no, but I keep a box of ammo in the glove box.
I'm in a defensive mode in town. Offensive mode for me is the Tokarev and three extra mags.
Big Al (now tell me this and be honest with yourself ... how often do you practice reloading your firearm with an extra magazine or speedloader? Hmmm?)
soon to add a 22rd or three
I don't carry any extra ammo on me normally. I do carry extra mags and speed strips in my car and truck.
30 in the pistol, 2 each 30rd mags.
I hate having to reload in a tense situation.
Just as an aside; how many here actually practice at unknown range with moving targets? Would you trust your rounds to NOT exit & hit a bystander/hostage? Could your gun/ammo combination hit a swinging frisbee at 50 yards?
I do, I will, and I can. That's why I choose the .22WMRF.
And .38Super. (even though it only holds 17+1).
I carry an extra Smith & Wesson.
Yep
In my truck, I also have a pair of G20 15 round 10mm mags just in case but don't carry it, just too heavy with my current rig.
If I get myself into a situation where 45 rounds isn't enough - I'm toast anyway.

beat me to it [;)]
btw a magazibe reload is at least 4x faster than a new york reload, my opinion a back up gun should not be part of a reloading scenario
ie: 15rd for the 1911 or 32rd for the 9mm.
Because Honestly, if you need to reload you want the extra cap
